Advocacy

RISE Center offers individual and systems advocacy services to promote dignity, independence, and control for individuals with disabilities to advance in civil rights of equal access and full participation in society.

Individual Advocacy – RISE Center will stand by you if you believe something is unfair or that someone is treating you badly and you want to do something to change it. RISE Center staff assists individuals by providing the skills to advocate for themselves while also offering one-on-one assistance. We can also assist with formal advocacy by referring individuals to legal providers.
